Commercial Freight Executive

Our Established freight forwarder client based in Sunbury are looking for someone to join their commercial team.

Role will primarily focus on Freight management, Data accuracy, Supporting pricing activities and Contributing to continuous improvement to the logistic service products for the Sea, Air Road and Rail modes of transport.

Duties:

* Assist with preparing customer freight quotations with the commercial team and provide timely and accurate pricing solutions

* Support Tender responses and ad hoc pricing requests

* Supporting internal rate procurement and maintaining accurate pricing within our freight management system (including system costings and client rate cards)

* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across commercial and operational workflows

* Assisting in the development of company products and Gateway services, creating schedules and supporting consolidation management activities

This role itself is more commercial driven rather than operational, the successful candidate will play a key part in supporting strategy and business growth

They will be strong opportunities to develop Air and Sea freight with clear pathways for progression within the business

Working hours Mon - Fri hrs
