The Role

As a Semi-Automatic Welder / Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out semi-automatic (MIG) welding to a high standard.
\n
• Manufacturing products in line with engineering drawings and production specifications.
\n
• Preparing, assembling, and welding steel components.
\n
• Operating production machinery and equipment safely.
\n
• Performing quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
\n
• Using hand and power tools.
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
\n
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
\n

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in MIG/semi-automatic welding.
\n
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
\n
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred).
\n
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
\n
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
\n

Desirable Skills

\n
• Fabrication experience.
\n
• Experience operating workshop machinery.
\n
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
\n
