Overview

A forward-thinking and rapidly growing Chartered Accountancy firm is looking to recruit a new member of the senior team in East Grinstead. The firm is known for its modern approach, inclusive culture, and commitment to continuous development.

They work with a diverse client base including SMEs, large international groups, charitable organisations, and high net worth individuals.

This is a permanent, full-time position. 4 days working from home.

The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Duties

\n
• Management of own client portfolio covering accounts and corporation tax returns
\n
• Management of own portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns
\n
• Providing commercial business support to clients
\n
• Experience with company secretarial matters including confirmation statements
\n
• Working together with a team of managers
\n
• Experience supervising junior members of the team and reviewing their work
\n
• Tax advantaged share schemes e.g. EMI share options
\n
• Venture capital schemes e.g. EIS/SEIS
\n
• R&D and creative industries tax relief claims
\n
• Involvement with business development activities
\n

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will have at least a few years post-qualification experience and a strong background in UK practice. You must also live within a reasonable commute to East Grinstead .
