A respected regional law firm is looking to appoint a Contentious Probate & Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. Working alongside experienced Partners, you'll handle a varied and complex caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the department.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor who enjoys a broad litigation practice and is looking for greater responsibility, exposure to high-quality work and a clear route for career progression.

You'll manage your own caseload while collaborating with senior lawyers on a wide range of contentious matters, including:

• Contentious Probate and Trust disputes
\n
• Will validity challenges
\n
• Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims
\n
• Executor and trustee disputes
\n
• Trust of Land (TOLATA) claims
\n
• Contentious Court of Protection matters
\n
• Commercial contract disputes
\n
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
\n
• Professional negligence claims
\n
• Real estate litigation
\n
• Contentious insolvency
\n
• Intellectual property disputes
\n

You'll have the opportunity to advise clients from initial instruction through to resolution, including negotiation, mediation and court proceedings where required.

About You

You'll be:

\n
• A qualified Solicitor with 4–8 years' PQE in Commercial Litigation, Contentious Probate or a mixed disputes practice
\n
• Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
\n
• An excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills
\n
• Commercially minded with an interest in networking and business development
\n
• Organised with strong billing, time management and file management skills
\n

Applications from candidates with slightly less or more experience will also be considered where relevant experience can be demonstrated
