Contentious Probate and Commercial Litigation Solicitor
\n(4-8 PQE) – Hertfordshire – Regional Law Firm – £55,000-£75,000
\nExperienced Litigator looking for a change?
\nA respected regional law firm is looking to appoint a Contentious Probate & Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. Working alongside experienced Partners, you'll handle a varied and complex caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the department.
\nThe Opportunity
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor who enjoys a broad litigation practice and is looking for greater responsibility, exposure to high-quality work and a clear route for career progression.
\nYou'll manage your own caseload while collaborating with senior lawyers on a wide range of contentious matters, including:

- Contentious Probate and Trust disputes \n
- Will validity challenges \n
- Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims \n
- Executor and trustee disputes \n
- Trust of Land (TOLATA) claims \n
- Contentious Court of Protection matters \n
- Commercial contract disputes \n
- Shareholder and partnership disputes \n
- Professional negligence claims \n
- Real estate litigation \n
- Contentious insolvency \n
- Intellectual property disputes \n
You'll have the opportunity to advise clients from initial instruction through to resolution, including negotiation, mediation and court proceedings where required.
\nAbout You
\nYou'll be:
\n- \n
- A qualified Solicitor with 4–8 years' PQE in Commercial Litigation, Contentious Probate or a mixed disputes practice \n
- Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision \n
- An excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills \n
- Commercially minded with an interest in networking and business development \n
- Organised with strong billing, time management and file management skills \n
Applications from candidates with slightly less or more experience will also be considered where relevant experience can be demonstrated
