\nAre you a paralegal with at least a year of dispute resolution experience, looking for a role where you actually get near the interesting work?
\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well regarded, growing law firm in Chester. Their Dispute Resolution team is expanding, and they want a proactive, well organised paralegal to grow with it.
\nThis is not a photocopying and filing role. You will support senior fee earners across the full lifecycle of complex litigation, from first enquiry through to hearing.
\nWhat you will be doing

- Supporting fee earners with supervised fee earning tasks, with accuracy and compliance at the core \n
- Preparing court documents and bundles under the guidance of senior team members \n
- Handling new enquiries in line with team processes \n
- Attending meetings, mediations and court hearings, taking detailed notes and uploading them to the case management system \n
- Acting as a point of contact when fee earners are out, managing calls and escalating urgent matters \n
- Providing routine client updates and drafting follow up correspondence to keep cases moving \n
- Using your initiative to make information requests and enquiries that progress matters \n
- Managing outgoing correspondence, standard and non standard, to a high standard \n
What they are looking for

- At least 1 year of experience in Dispute Resolution. Exposure to commercial and contract disputes, intellectual property, partnership and shareholder disputes, or property litigation is ideal \n
- A genuine interest in litigation as a career, not just a stepping stone \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication \n
- Strong organisation and real attention to detail \n
- Confidence using case management systems \n
- A commitment to first class client care and high professional standards \n
