\nAre you a motivated finance professional currently working as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Analyst, or Assistant Management Accountant and looking for a role that will accelerate your career?

\nWhat you'll be doing
\nAs Assistant Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function by helping deliver accurate financial information and contributing to continuous improvement across the department.
\nYour responsibilities will include:

Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.
\n - \n
Assisting with month-end close activities, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
\n - \n
Producing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating outstanding items.
\n - \n
Monitoring overhead expenditure and supporting departmental cost analysis.
\n - \n
Preparing financial data to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
\n - \n
Reviewing payroll-related accounting entries and ensuring accurate financial posting.
\n - \n
Reconciling intercompany balances and assisting with internal recharging processes.
\n - \n
Supporting cash management activities, including bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
\n - \n
Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory financial reporting requirements.
\n - \n
Maintaining financial records and ensuring accounting data remains accurate and compliant.
\n - \n
Working with operational teams to resolve financial queries and improve reporting accuracy.
\n - \n
Identifying opportunities to streamline finance processes and improve reporting efficiency.
\n - \n
Supporting year-end audit requirements and providing information to internal and external stakeholders.
\n - \n
Assisting with finance projects, system improvements and business change initiatives.
\n - \n
Providing wider support across the finance team whenever required

What we're looking for
\nWe're looking for an ambitious individual who is keen to build a long-term career within finance.
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- \n
A Finance, Accounting or Business-related degree, or equivalent experience.
\n - \n
Around 2-3 years' experience within a finance or accounting environment.
\n - \n
Experience supporting month-end processes or management accounts.
\n - \n
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and data analysis.
