Electronic Engineer (Remote First)

We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative technology business developing cutting-edge industrial sensing technology used by manufacturers around the world.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join a growing R&D team working on the next generation of intelligent sensor technology. You'll play a key role across the full product development lifecycle, from circuit design and PCB development through to embedded firmware, testing and product validation.
\nWorking within a collaborative engineering environment, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to genuinely innovative products while enjoying a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
\nYou'll only need to attend the Birmingham office once a fortnight on a Friday for team meetings.
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nWe're interested in engineers with commercial experience in areas such as:
\n- \n
- Analogue and digital electronics. \n
- PCB design and layout. \n
- Circuit design and simulation. \n
- Embedded firmware development. \n
- C programming. \n
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP). \n
- Design for manufacture. \n
- EMC awareness. \n
- Altium or KiCad. \n
Experience with any of the following would also be advantageous:

- ATEX design. \n
- Environmental testing standards. \n
- Siemens S7 PLCs. \n
- STM32 microcontrollers. \n
- Xilinx Zynq devices. \n
- Linux development. \n
