- Support the Head of Care, Deputy, and Senior staff to maintain the highest standards of care \n
- Follow medical guidance and administer care in line with individual care plans \n
- Carry out regular welfare checks on children throughout the night (minimum every 15 minutes where required) \n
- Comfort, settle, and support children who wake during the night \n
- Promote the dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of every child \n
- \n
- Complete laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and putting away bedding and towels \n
- Assist with light food preparation when required \n
- Clean and maintain communal areas, including toilets, sinks, floors, and bins \n
- Communication & Record Keeping \n
- Maintain effective communication with the day team through accurate handovers \n
- Keep the Head of Care informed of any incidents or concerns during the night \n
- Complete daily reports for each child \n
- Record accidents, incidents, and medication administration accurately \n

- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and fire safety procedures \n
- Maintain confidentiality at all times \n
- Attend mandatory training and professional development sessions \n
- \n
- Caring, patient, and compassionate \n
- Reliable with excellent communication skills \n
- Able to remain calm under pressure \n
- Committed to safeguarding children and promoting their wellbeing \n
- Flexible and able to work independently during night shifts \n
- Previous experience in residential childcare or care work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate \n
