Equifind are proud to be supporting a thriving real estate client to recruit a Payments and Finance Operations Manager to work from their London office.
\n\nDue to investment and a reshuffle in the finance team, there is now a need to add this position to support the senior finance function with the daily running of the transactional area of the business.
\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Payments & Finance Operations Manager to lead and optimise payment processes, financial controls, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced professional services organisation.

\n\nKey deliverables for this position include:

- Lead day-to-day finance operations and team management including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing support \n
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and reconciliations \n
- Own month-end processes related to cash, payments, and working capital \n
- Build and maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations \n
- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries \n
- Identify and implement process efficiencies across finance and payments workflows \n
- Oversee end-to-end payment processes including supplier payments, client refunds, and intercompany transfers \n
- Ensure all payments are processed accurately, securely, and in line with internal controls and approval frameworks \n
- Manage payment platforms, banking systems, and relationships with external providers \n
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funding for operational needs \n
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, failed transactions, and operational issues \n
- Ad hoc projects as and when needed by senior management \n

\n\nBackground and experience:
\n- \n
- Can be a part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) \n
- Proficient with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite is highly desirable \n
- Previous experience of working within a SME \n
- Experience of team management is a MUST \n
- Have a strong background in treasury and cash management \n
- Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, controls and projects \n
- Strong stakeholder management \n
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment \n
Package on offer:

- Base salary of £60k-£70k depending on your industry experience. \n

- Ideally you will be on no more than 4 weeks' notice for this opportunity \n
