Oakbank Care Home is a well established care home in Crieff, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative and Respite care for up to 70 residents. With a strong, supportive team and a focus on high standards of care, the home offers a positive working environment where staff feel valued and supported in their roles.Senior Care Assistant Contract £14.00-£14.50 per hourContracted to 38.5 hours per weekPaid PVG, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.We Are Looking For SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towardsMedication administration training with competency is essentialExperience supporting or leading a care team is beneficialStrong communication and leadership skillsA caring, compassionate and professional approachAbout usOakbank Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family owned, market leading care provider with a strong and growing presence across the United Kingdom.
