HGV Class 2 Day Driver

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping transport operations running smoothly? We are recruiting an additional HGV Class C Day Drivers to work Monday to Friday.

Igloo Thermo Logistics is a national temperature-controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK. We have depots in Leeds, Luton and Taunton.

What you will be doing

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
\n
• Average Drops between 5-10 drops per day
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
\n
• Loading and unloading items.
\n
• Maintain communication with Transport staff and customers regarding delivery status.
\n
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
\n
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean driving log.
\n

What we are looking for/Essential for the role

\n
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license
\n
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and valid digital tachograph card.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and road safety laws.
\n
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years held on a driving license. We will accept up to 6 points on your license, but no DD, DG, TT, DR, CD, IN, CU endorsements
