Salary: £29,640 - £31,200 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Aylesbury.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter & Assembler with experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will play an important role in assembling high-quality products, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
\nThe successful candidate will enjoy working in a hands-on production environment, take pride in their workmanship and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities\nAs a Mechanical Fitter & Assembler, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out mechanical fitting and assembly of components to a high standard
\n - \n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings
\n - \n
Following work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products are manufactured correctly
\n - \n
Using hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively
\n - \n
Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
\n - \n
Identifying issues and supporting problem-solving activities
\n - \n
Maintaining excellent attention to detail and ensuring quality standards are achieved
\n - \n
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production department
\n - \n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
\n - \n
Supporting other areas of production when required
\n
We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter & Assembler with:

- \n
Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
\n - \n
Experience in mechanical fitting and assembly
\n - \n
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
\n - \n
Experience working from Third Angle Projection drawings would be advantageous
\n - \n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
\n - \n
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload
\n - \n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
\n - \n
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
\n
