Continuous Improvement & Training ManagerEllesmere Port | £40,000£50,000 + Excellent BenefitsThe RoleWe're looking for a proactive Continuous Improvement & Training Manager to drive operational excellence and develop our people. You'll lead Lean improvement initiatives, build training and competency programmes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business.This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with leaders and teams to improve productivity, quality, safety, and employee engagement.Key Responsibilities\n

- Continuous Improvement \n
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and 5S improvement initiatives. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, cost and delivery through data analysis and process optimisation. \n
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions. \n
- Lead value stream mapping and standardisation projects. \n
- Develop and monitor KPIs to measure improvement performance. \n
- Support cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets. \n

- Develop and deliver the company training and competency strategy. \n
- Identify skills gaps and coordinate technical, operational, leadership and compliance training. \n
- Maintain training matrices and competency records. \n
- Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. \n
- Coach managers in employee development and support succession planning. \n
- \n
- Lead improvement workshops and training sessions. \n
- Support business change initiatives and mentor teams in problem-solving techniques. \n
- Partner with department leaders to align improvement priorities with business objectives. \n
- Compliance & Reporting \n
- Ensure training meets regulatory, quality and health & safety requirements. \n
- Report on improvement projects, cost savings, training performance and KPIs. \n
- Maintain accurate training and improvement documentation. \n
- \n
- 5+ years' experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Manufacturing. \n
- Proven success delivering Lean and process improvement projects. \n
- Experience designing and delivering employee training programmes. \n
- Strong analytical, communication and coaching skills. \n
- Experience managing KPIs and driving measurable business improvements. \n
- \n
- Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or a related discipline. \n
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. \n
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or logistics. \n
- \n
- Salary of £40,000£50,000 \n
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays \n
