We are seeking a skilled and qualified Welder to join our machine shop team. This role involves carrying out high-quality welding work in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or MMA welding as required.
\n
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
\n
• Inspect welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with all regulations.
\n
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
\n
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Relevant welding qualifications/certifications.
\n
• Proven experience in a welding role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
\n
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
\n
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
\n

Additional Duties:

\n
• During quieter production periods, the Welder will support other activities within the machine shop.
\n
• This may include assisting with machining operations, assembly work, general workshop duties, housekeeping, and other tasks as directed by the Production Manager to support the efficient operation of the business.
