Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Engineering Team Leader to support the Engineering Manager in driving engineering performance across a busy production site.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that offers long-term career development, investment in modern equipment and a supportive working environment.The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. You'll play a key role in maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement across the site.Working closely with Production and other departments, you'll help ensure engineering activities support the delivery of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.Key Responsibilities Support and lead a team of engineers on shift.Coordinate planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.Ensure equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.Coach, mentor and develop engineering team members.Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.Assist with engineering projects and equipment upgrades.Ensure compliance with all health & safety and engineering standards.Work closely with Production to maximise operational performance.Support the Engineering Manager with day-to-day departmental activities and performance.The Candidate We are keen to speak with candidates who have:Previous experience as an Engineering Team Leader, Engineering Supervisor or Senior Maintenance Engineer.Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledge.Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Experience leading, coaching or mentoring engineering teams.A proactive approach with a strong continuous improvement mindset.Good communication and organisational skills.What's on Offer Circa £50,000 salaryExcellent company benefits packagePension schemeOngoing training and career developmentOpportunities for progression within a growing businessModern manufacturing facility with continued investmentSupportive and collaborative working environmentIf you're an ambitious engineering professional looking to progress your career within a successful manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
