Job Title\n

General Manager (“GM”) of FalconX Limited (“Company”) is principally responsible for the general management, day‑to‑day operations, and administrative functions of the Company.

Responsibilities\n

  • Managing financial budgets and developing strategic plans while communicating business goals of the Company.
  • \n
  • Managing sales for institutional portfolios and clients.
  • \n
  • Evaluating and reporting on the overall financial performance of the Company.
  • \n
  • Preparing written reports for the Board of Directors and Senior Management on company matters.
  • \n
  • Ensuring that internal policies and procedures are kept up to date in line with the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
  • \n
  • Assisting senior managers to achieve their goals.
  • \n
  • Improving internal processes for better productivity.
  • \n
  • Overseeing the professional development and training of employees.
  • \n
  • Overseeing the delegation of outsourced services to group entities and third‑party entities, including ongoing assessments.
  • \n
  • Developing new solutions to meet client needs with appropriate personnel.
  • \n
  • Liaising with the Malta Financial Services Authority and other competent and governmental authorities in Malta.
  • \n
  • Remaining up to date with regulatory developments at both a European and local level.
  • \n
  • Reporting to the Malta Board of Directors on KPIs from a financial performance perspective, capital requirements matters, and organisational matters.
  • \n
  • Serving as a member of the Malta Markets & Credit Risk Committee and presenting KPIs on financial performance and capital requirements matters.
  • \n
  • Overseeing the outsourcing agreement between FalconX Limited and WarpDrive, testing service level agreements, and maintaining updated registers to comply with MFSA rules (now transitioning to DORA rules).
  • \n
  • Acting as an authorised signatory on each FalconX Ltd contract to ensure regulatory alignment and correct record keeping.
  • \n
  • Coordinating the annual update of the Wind‑down Plan, including financial projections, stress testing and trigger events.
  • \n
  • Monitoring trigger events and reporting them to the Board.
  • \n
  • Initiating coordination of the wind‑down plan if a trigger event is breached.
  • \n
  • Chairing the Malta EDD committee and approving onboarded clients classified as low or medium.
  • \n
  • Coordinating with the Internal Audit team (outsourced to PwC Malta) for audit assignments, ensuring meetings and follow‑ups, and closing audit findings.
  • \n
  • Coordinating with IT auditors (BDO) and the internal Security team for the annual IT audit.
  • \n
  • Coordinating quarterly MFSA VFASP returns, ensuring stakeholder timelines, data collection, board approvals, and handling MFSA feedback.
  • \n
  • Coordinating tax matters and government rebates.
  • \n
  • Coordinating the filing of returns to the Malta Business Registry.
  • \n
  • Discussing with MFSA any capital contributions and executing related tasks.
  • \n
  • Serving as a committee member at the Malta Chamber of Commerce on crypto matters.
  • \n
  • Coordinating the Malta Board of Directors, setting agendas, and managing logistics.
  • \n
  • Overseeing bill payments for office lease, insurance, consultants, lawyers, and related expenses.
