Functional Assessor - Nurse, Physio, Paramedic or OT\n
\nHybrid Working (2 days from home/3 days in the Assessment Centre)\n

The Role\n

The Role\n
\nAs a Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you'll use your clinical reasoning to assess how health conditions impact daily living.\n
\nYou will:\n

- Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments \n
- Review medical evidence and complete clinical triage \n
- Use focused questioning and active listening \n
- Produce clear, structured reports to strict standards that enable DWP decision making. \n
\nTo be considered, you must have:\n
\n
- \n
- NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions \n
- Minimum 12 months' recent UK post-registration experience \n
- Have been a practicing as a clinician in the UK over the last 12 months. \n
- Experience working with a wide range of adult conditions across different clinical scenarios \n
- Strong written communication skills and be comfortable using computers. \n
- High attention to detail and objectivity \n
\n
- \n
- Are confident assessing varied health conditions (physical, mental health, long-term) \n
- Can adapt their clinical reasoning across different patient presentations \n
- Are comfortable producing detailed written reports \n
\n
- \n
- 6 months supported training to achieve DWP approval \n
- Hybrid working post-training \n
- Full-time hours with predictable schedule \n
\n
- \n
- Up to 10% annual bonus (paid quarterly) \n
- Starting salary - £44862. Salary at 12 months - £46,862 + potential to earn an additional £2000 local bonus for this site. \n
