Role Description

\n

The SJP Office Administrator is a part-time, on-site role based in Hinckley. This role supports the Practice by managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining client records, preparing documentation, and updating systems in line with St. James’s Place processes. Responsibilities include handling incoming enquiries, scheduling meetings, managing diaries, and coordinating correspondence with clients and providers. The Office Administrator will process new business and servicing requests, ensure compliance requirements are met, and assist with the production of reports and client packs. The role involves working closely with advisers and other team members, ensuring that office operations run efficiently and that clients receive a professional and timely service.

Qualifications

  • SJP partner practice experience is preferred but not essential
  • \n
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including accurate data entry, document management, and task prioritisation.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with office software and systems, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM or database tools.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle client enquiries professionally and clearly.
  • \n
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, particularly when working with client information and financial documentation.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Hinckley while collaborating effectively within a small team environment.
  • \n
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or a regulated environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • \n
  • Understanding of basic office compliance practices and willingness to learn St. James’s Place processes and standards.
  • \n
  • Relevant education or experience in administration, customer service, or office management; professional development or SJP-related training will be supported.

Salary

\n

£18,720 - £20,000 per annum, dependant on applicants prior experience - based on 24 hours per week (3 days) overtime also available.
