Your New Role\n
As our portfolio continues to expand, the Global Technology & Operations team is at the forefront of building world-class media technology and IT systems. We’re on a mission to enhance Warner Bros. Discovery’s products and articulate a long-term technology strategy that will elevate our pay-TV, digital, and online services.

In this role, you’ll primarily support WBD Sports as we undergo a technology transformation across Europe, utilizing a hybrid architecture of on-premise and cloud solutions. Join our dynamic team in London and Paris, where you’ll be integral to managing engineering and support for our cutting-edge broadcast operations.
Your Role Accountabilities\n
As part of the M2P Engineering team, you will provide Tier 2 support and engineering expertise for MAM and post-production platforms within a virtualized hybrid environment.
Support
Responsibilities:\n\n - Deliver Tier 2 support and manage escalated tickets from Level 0 and Level 1 teams.
\n - Coordinate incident and problem follow-ups with internal and external teams.
\n - Monitor platform health and performance, planning maintenance activities as needed.
\n - Oversee upgrade phases and reboot actions.
\n
Engineering
Responsibilities:\n\n - Manage short-term engineering projects and collaborate with the Tier 3 engineering team.
\n - Gather workflow requirements from WBD Sports, TNT Sports, and Eurosport offices.
\n - Produce comprehensive workflow, project, and engineering documentation.
\n - Design centralized workflows across MAM and post-production platforms.
\n - Support users through change management and new project implementations.
\n
Qualifications & Experience\n
\n - Degree in Technology, Engineering, Broadcast, or a related field.
\n - Fluent in written and spoken English; French language skills are a plus.
\n - Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
\n - Proven ability to perform under pressure, especially during live events.
\n - Self-motivated team player committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
\n - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\n - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Broadcast Technology in a support or engineering role.
\n - Experience in Sports, News, Production, and Documentary environments.
\n - Familiarity with MAM and Post-Production tools.
\n - Strong technical background in broadcast technologies (IP video, audio formats, etc.).
\n - Good understanding of IT technologies and challenges (networking, virtualization, cloud services).
\n - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
\n
Nice to Have:\n
\n - Basic scripting and development skills.
\n - Knowledge of AWS services.
\n - Familiarity with microservices architecture.
\n
General Working Conditions\n
\n - Work on shifts, including evenings and weekends.
\n - Night work may be required depending on live events.
\n - Participate in on-call rotation.
\n - Based in London, UK, with minimal travel expected.
\n - This is a permanent contract.
\n
Hybrid Working\n
This role is offered as a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, in line with our company policy and your Line Manager's agreement. Please note that this arrangement may be adjusted based on business needs.
