Roofer

Join a well established social housing contractor in Oakham as a Roofer on a self-employed contract, with a company van and fuel card from day one!\n
\nThis opportunity is with a respected and established building contractor within the housing sector. You'll be part of a company that values high-quality work and supports ongoing growth in a stable, full-time environment.\n
\nId be keen to see applications from anyone with experience in general building trades, whether you've previously worked as a Carpenter, Roofing Specialist or General Builder.\n
As a Roofer, you will be:\n
\n

\n
• Carrying out flat and pitched roofing
\n
• Identifying and rectifying roofing defects
\n
• Surveying and correctly placing slates/ tiles in isolated patches
\n
• Removing old roof coverings and replacing full covering to all styles of roofs
\n
• Re-bedding and renewing hip and ridge tiles
\n
• Point, repair, rebuild chimney stacks and re-bed/ renew chimney pots
\n
• Repair mineral felt and asphalt flat roof covering
\n

• A full UK driving licence
\n
• Their own tools
\n
• A background in roofing or multiple trades
\n
• Experience working in domestic properties
\n
