The Role\n
\nYou will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion. This role suits someone confident handling their own files with minimal supervision, while maintaining excellent standards of client care.Key Responsibilities\n

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, new build, remortgages, transfers of equity, and other related transactions.
  • \n
  • Investigating title documentation, reviewing property information, and identifying any legal risks or issues requiring further action.
  • \n
  • Preparing, negotiating, and approving contracts, transfer deeds, reports on title, and other conveyancing documentation.
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
  • \n
  • Undertaking property searches, reviewing search results, submitting applications to the Land Registry, and raising and responding to pre-contract enquiries.
  • \n
  • Advising clients throughout the transaction, explaining legal processes, potential risks, and available options in a clear and practical manner.
  • \n
  • Ensuring all matters are conducted in accordance with regulatory obligations, including AML, GDPR, and the firm's risk management procedures.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate file records and updating the firm's case management system to ensure compliance and efficient case progression.
  • \n
  • Taking a proactive approach to resolving legal or procedural issues that may arise, helping to minimise delays and achieve timely completions.
  • \n
  • Delivering a high standard of client care by managing expectations, providing regular updates, and building strong professional relationships throughout the conveyancing process.

About You\n
\nWe're looking for someone who:\n
\n

  • Is a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
  • \n
  • Has solid residential conveyancing experience (ideally 2+ years of managing their own caseload)
  • \n
  • Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • \n
  • Can follow structured processes consistently and accurately
  • \n
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • Is proactive and confident managing a high-volume workload
  • \n
  • Is comfortable using digital case management systems and technology
  • \n
