Neighbourhood Housing Officer
\nSt Helens
\n£24.00 - £25.00 per hour (Umbrella)
\n9-Month Contract
\nFull-Time | Monday to Friday
\nVenn Group is working with a leading social housing provider to recruit an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer to manage a designated patch and deliver a comprehensive housing management service. The successful candidate will be responsible for tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, estate management, and anti-social behaviour casework, ensuring communities remain safe, sustainable, and well managed.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage a designated housing patch, providing a high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management service to residents. \n
- Investigate and manage tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour cases, tenancy fraud, unauthorised occupation, and other housing management matters. \n
- Conduct home visits, tenancy audits, starter tenancy reviews, estate inspections, accompanied viewings, and other tenancy-related visits. \n
- Support tenancy sustainment through needs assessments, safeguarding referrals, signposting, and partnership working with internal and external agencies. \n
- Build positive relationships with tenants, residents, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with housing legislation, policies, and service standards. \n
Essential Requirements

- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Tenancy Officer, or within a similar housing management role. \n
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation, and anti-social behaviour case management. \n
- Experience managing a diverse caseload and delivering tenancy sustainment interventions. \n
- Ability to build effective relationships with tenants, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders. \n
- Excellent communication, organisational, and case management skills with the ability to work independently. \n
