Finance Manager

If you’re an experienced Finance Manager who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this interim role offers the perfect blend of flexibility and impact.Joining a growing manufacturing business with a small, friendly finance team, you’ll provide steady support while the Finance Director focuses on implementing a new system. This is a hands-on role where your technical know-how will keep the numbers accurate and the month end on track.Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:\n

• Preparing monthly management accounts and month-end reporting
\n
• Managing accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Checking ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness
\n
• Maintaining P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
\n
• Ensuring a smooth handover between systems
\n
• Acting as a safe pair of hands
\n

What you will need:\n

\n
• To be qualified ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA ) or QBE with solid SME experience
\n
• A proven background in management accounts and core accounting (debits and credits, P&L)
\n
• Intermediate – advanced Excel skills
\n
• A steady and methodical approach, reliable and comfortable working independently
\n

The details:\n

• Interim basis – approximately 3 months with potential to extend
\n
• Location: office-based in Basingstoke
\n
• Rate: £25-£30 per hour
\n
• Clearance: SC clearance required (can start with restricted access)
\n
