Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with disabilities, including autism
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Commitment to inclusive classroom practices
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt lesson plans for diverse learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Foster a nurturing, positive classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Support students in both academic and behavioral growth
