Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in CA

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Indio, CA, providing telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. This contract role requires delivering both direct and indirect therapy to students with moderate to severe speech and language needs. Collaboration with onsite contracted paraprofessional facilitators will support effective service delivery.

Key qualifications and requirements include:

• Valid California Teaching Credential (CTC) with an active Certificate of Clearance (COC) obtained through fingerprinting by the CTC
• Availability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) during the full school year
• Experience in providing speech therapy through telepractice modalities, such as telespeech and teletherapy
• Ability to manage a caseload consisting of moderate to severe students with diverse communication needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating with facilitators and maintaining therapy documentation

Responsibilities for this position encompass:

• Conducting direct speech and language therapy sessions using teletherapy technology
• Providing indirect support and consultative services to paraprofessional facilitators
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with student goals and needs
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies accordingly
