Desired experience and qualifications:
- SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
- Prior experience providing speech therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and school staff
- Active state SLP licensure
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized plans for Pre-K students with speech and language needs
- Delivering therapeutic interventions to improve expressive, receptive, and social communication skills
- Monitoring student progress, adjusting goals and approaches as needed
- Documenting all evaluations, sessions, and outcomes in accordance with school and licensure requirements
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to foster student success
