Job Description

This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule (4 days a week, with flexibility for those seeking 5 days), supporting a small special education population in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist certification preferred
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, especially in diverse educational settings
- Ability to adapt to varying environments and to respond thoughtfully to different student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Comfort navigating both STEM-focused and vocational learning settings
- Openness to working with a smaller special education caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized plans to support student success
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
- Serve as an advocate for students’ mental health and learning needs, providing consultation and guidance
- Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed, fostering a positive and supportive school climate
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical, legal, and procedural guidelines
