Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. As one of two occupational therapists supporting the district, you’ll make a meaningful difference by delivering exceptional care and fostering student success. This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a well-rounded caseload, typically around 30 students, and includes opportunities to collaborate with staff on Tier 1 supports throughout the district.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Washington state licensure or eligibility to obtain OT certification prior to start
  • Recent experience in a school setting and a strong understanding of school-based OT services
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and deliver both direct and consultative services
  • Comfortable providing Tier 1 support and training for education staff
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational abilities and flexibility
  • References required as part of the district’s hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, develop and implement individualized intervention plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote access to the curriculum
  • Offer consultation and training to staff as part of Tier 1 intervention strategies
  • Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting standards
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
