School Speech Language Pathologist - Pelham, Alabama

We are seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide onsite services during the upcoming academic year. With three positions available across welcoming campuses, you will make a meaningful impact, collaborating with educators and families to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
• Valid Alabama SLP license and SLP Educator certificate (see certification portal for verification and fingerprinting)
• Previous pediatric/school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management abilities
• Passion for working with diverse student populations, including those with moderate to complex needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to K-12 students in school environments
• Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students per assignment
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
• Supervise SLP Assistants or CFs if required
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and district guidelines
• Positions available:
  • Full-time at Pinson Valley High School
  • Split schedule: 2 days at McAdory Elementary/3 days at McCalla Elementary
  • Split schedule: 3 days at Hueytown Middle/2 days at Lipscomb Elementary
