Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting high school students throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time, contracted onsite position, totaling 35 hours per week over five full in-person days. The assignment starts August 24, 2026, and concludes June 10, 2027, offering the chance to profoundly impact the educational experience of students in an urban district environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (Pennsylvania)
- Proven school-based experience, ideally within urban settings
- Solid background in conducting evaluations and assessments for high school populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctual and consistent attendance
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Full availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 7:15AM–2:45PM, as per district requirements
- Comfort and adaptability working in a district and location with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for high school students
- Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and administrators to develop and monitor effective student support plans
- Conduct individual and group counseling as needed to address students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all state and federal requirements
