What you’ll need:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
- Effective communication skills with students, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Capacity for patience, creativity, and problem-solving in classroom situations
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and deliver specialized instruction for students with exceptionalities
- Maintain accurate and compliant IEP documentation and progress records
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student goals and transitions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student support activities
- Foster a respectful, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
