\nIndividual contributor responsible for providing day-to-day global regulatory support, execution and advisement for the successful launch and lifecycle of formulated and hardline/softline consumer products such as home fragrance, personal care, OTC drugs and accessories. Key duties include - concept review, ingredient/formula evaluation, label approval, claims, product registrations/notifications, and post-market support with a focus on supporting global franchise partners around the world with product compliance!
Responsibilities:Product Compliance Management:\n- \n
- Accountable to understand and apply global regulations to ensure amenable products. \n
- Communicate product and ingredient/formula requirements to appropriate partners. \n
- Evaluate and resolve minor product compliance issues with cross functional partners. \n
- Evaluate and raise major issues to manager/supervisor. \n
- \n
- Perform research on regulatory related topics appropriate to areas of accountability. \n
- Provide recommendations and information to supervisor and regulatory teams. \n
- Learn and apply regulations and begin to leverage experience in issue management. \n
- Develop an understanding of market positioning and ingredient/technology acceptability. \n
- \n
- Assist and be responsible for the design and maintenance of regulatory recordkeeping systems. \n
- Organize information, documentation and databases to ensure completeness and ease of use. \n
- Provide metric data for areas of responsibility and tasks. \n
- Responsible for identifying and developing SOPs associated with areas of accountability. \n
- \n
- Awareness and understanding of regulations, industry and technical issues. \n
- Responsible for understanding emerging technical issues and identifying impacts through functional support of sub-brand projects. \n
- Responsible for communicating developments and relevant information to regulatory and technical teams. \n
- External monitoring, including but not limited to: FDA, Health Canada, EU Cosmetics Regulation, Federal & State legislation, FTC, NAD, Federal Register, International regulations and emerging issues. \n

- Participate in trade association activities as identified by supervisor. \n
- Supervise government/regulations applicable to their area of accountability. \n
- Communicate emerging trade association activities and/or governmental monitoring to regulatory team applicable to their area of accountability, \n
- Participate and organize educational and development activities such as webinars as needed. \n
- \n
- Assist in onboarding new associates and training cross-functional partners when needed. \n
- \n
- 0-2 years of lab or related experience. \n
- Familiarity with formulated, hardline and softline consumer product regulations preferred \n
- Strong written and oral communication skills. \n
- Must be collaborative, motivated, and adaptable. \n
- Excels at managing competing tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy or attention to detail. \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and preferably SAP system \n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree, BS/BA or similar or equivalent experience in related field. \n
