Responsibilities for License Coordinator include but are not limited to:

· Support the review and processing of applications for licenses

· Provide process and operational support to the pharmacy licensing team

· Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet objectives and deadlines

· Assist with tracking projects

· Assist in responding to problems and issues presented to the team from within and outside of the Optum/UHG community

· Work according to the best practices implemented by the licensing team

· Appropriately escalate issues to licensing leadership

· Use existing job aids, industry knowledge, and facts to solve routine problems or conduct routine analyses

· Work independently with minimal guidance from others

· Facilitate and conduct meetings within area of expertise

· Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop creative solutions

· Quickly adapt to changes and demonstrate flexibility

· Maintain accurate records of all licensing activities

· Support the research and investigation of licensure conditions

· Determine whether business processes are consistent and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements and take appropriate action as directed

· Collaborate with business partners to review, analyze, and oversee or coordinate applicable implementation activities from a regulatory perspective

· Create and review documents and communications to support effective decision-making (e.g., interpretations, opinions, job aids, product filings, and plan materials)

· Utilize appropriate tools and processes to track regulatory compliance

· Monitor, review, and analyze newly enacted or proposed regulatory and sub-regulatory requirements and provide feedback as needed (e.g., State, County, and Local Municipalities)

· Support analysis of new mandates and laws and assist with proper implementation by the business

· Support the management and implementation of applicable regulatory filings in a timely manner

· Support licensing and internal business partners to drive achievement of regulators' expectations

· Leverage applicable tools and resources to obtain and store required business data and information (e.g., SharePoint, external websites, and internal tracking tools)

· Demonstrate understanding of associated regulatory requirements

· Demonstrate knowledge of quality requirements and regulatory agencies to clarify relevant regulatory issues (e.g., inconsistencies across agencies, reporting requirements, and standards)

· Provide ongoing support, consulting, and guidance to business partners as directed

· Support the identification of business risks related to regulatory matters and escalate or communicate concerns as necessary

Candidates for License Coordinator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

· Experience in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), intermediate level or higher

· Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat or similar software

· Comfortable communicating professionally with internal and external business partners

· Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and change, can shift gears comfortably, can act with information available, comfortably handle uncertainty in a manner consistent with UnitedHealth Group's core values, culture, and common language of leadership

· Demonstrated ability to identify when decisions must be escalated to licensing leaders because information is limited or unclear

· Adept at understanding complex concepts and resolving situations presented by the business environment

· Ability to identify problems and support the appropriate compliance solutions

· Ability to meet goals, work independently to achieve goals, and push self to reach milestones

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Self-motivated contributor who takes ownership of a task from start to finish

Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

This License Coordinator position is Onsite. This role may require flexibility in work hours, including occasional extended hours to support operational demands.

Pay Details: $19.49 per hour
