\n As a Quality Assurance Technician 2, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:\n
\n
    \n
  • Test, inspect, and measure products, materials, and processes using precision measuring equipment to evaluate conformance with specifications.
    • \n
  • Perform pilot run inspections and complete comprehensive First Article Inspections.
    • \n
  • Conduct Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities, including investigating non-conforming product and creating material reports.
    • \n
  • Support the development and implementation of inspection plans, making recommendations for process improvements based on data.
    • \n
  • Train operators, new-hires, and contract workers on modern inspection techniques and the correct use of gauges.
    • \n

\n $24-$26 per hour\n

\n Requirements\n
\n

\n The ideal Quality Assurance Technician 2 must meet these core qualifications:\n
\n
    \n
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
    • \n
  • Three or more years of prior Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD and T) experience, with proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
    • \n
  • Quality Technician Certification (CQT) or Quality Inspector Certification (CQI) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is preferred.
    • \n
  • Proficient understanding of final acceptance activities, manufacturing data systems (such as SAP), and Statistical Process Control.
    • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, and optical comparators.
    • \n
