Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay:
\n- \n
- Starting salary of $48 per hour. \n
- $1000 bonus for completing the full contract ($500 after the first 3 months, $500 after 6 months). \n
\n Qualifications Required:
- \n
- High School diploma or GED. \n
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. \n
- Valid licenses/certifications in the state of Texas (TX): \n
- \n
- Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS). \n
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL). \n
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS). \n
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. \n
\n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- Experience in psychiatric care. \n
- RN license number. \n
.Current Open Shifts:
\n- \n
- 6:45am-3:15pm (7a to 3p) or 2:45pm-11:15pm (3p to 11p). \n
- Every other weekend off (non-negotiable). \n
Additional Shift Information:
\n- \n
- Candidates must be available for 10 consecutive days of training, Monday to Friday, 8-5 (non-negotiable). \n
- RNs willing to work every Saturday and Sunday are also of interest. Weekend shifts may be 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 7am-11pm. If working the weekend schedule, an additional 8-hour shift can be picked up for a full 40-hour workweek. \n
Required Skills and Experience:
\n- \n
- Possession of a valid RN license. \n
- Completion of required drug testing \n
- Completion of required fingerprinting (provided by the facility). \n
- Completion of facility and HHSC required training (10 days - cannot be missed). \n
Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Provide care for patients, including managing psychiatric and medical emergencies, and completing nursing assessments for new admissions. \n
- Perform computer data entry (full training provided). \n
- Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies, including Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, ASH Policy and Directives, and HHSC Standards, Rules, and Directives. \n
