Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Long Beach, California

Immediate openings for Travel Pharmacists to support inpatient hospital settings on the Central Coast of California. Positions are available for 13 weeks or longer, with an ASAP start. Multiple shifts are available, including day and night schedules, in locations near San Luis Obispo and Templeton, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification and supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Consult regularly with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care.
• Manage pharmacokinetics and related clinical pharmacy functions.
• Utilize hospital IT systems such as Cerner and Omnicell for accurate medication management.

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy.
• Proficient in both EPIC and Cerner electronic health records systems.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule Options:

• Days: Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Nights: Seven days on, seven days off.
