Provide essential pharmacy support as a Relief Hospital Pharmacist in a small critical care hospital setting, offering temporary and PRN coverage with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescriptions and medication orders for accuracy and safety
  • Review physician orders to ensure appropriateness of medication therapy
  • Respond promptly to medication-related inquiries from nurses and physicians
  • Support daily inpatient pharmacy operations to maintain seamless pharmaceutical care
  • Ensure safe and precise medication dispensing in a fast-paced hospital environment

Qualifications:

  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
  • Previous experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy, preferably with critical care exposure
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to assess and resolve complex medication issues
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff
  • Capacity to work independently within a small hospital setting and adapt to evolving patient needs
