This position is designed for a talented SLP to provide onsite services across two local schools, offering flexibility across a 20-hour workweek and a schedule spanning four days per week. The SLP will deliver specialized support to approximately 25 students enrolled in a communication classroom program and receiving special education services. Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, in line with budget and candidate experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience working within school settings, specifically with students accessing special education programs
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Oregon
- Excellent teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in a communication classroom setting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create and implement IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Facilitate engaging, evidence-based treatment sessions tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Serve as a resource for colleagues and families regarding speech and language development
