Step into an impactful role serving students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to help students thrive academically and socially, working 35-40 hours weekly in a dynamic school setting near Norwich, VT.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong diagnostic, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records for each student’s progress and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and support students’ inclusion in classroom activities
- Provide resources and guidance to educators and families on communication strategies
