Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Tomball, TX

The position is based at a large, well-supported high school and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, fully on-site. Your core responsibilities will include conducting thorough evaluations and participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, with the added benefit of ARD Specialist support available on campus.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
• Previous experience as a school-based diagnostician in Texas public schools (preferred: several years)
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting educational evaluations and assessments for high school-age students
• Strong knowledge of ARD processes and state compliance standards
• Willingness to work in-person, maintaining a consistent presence on campus
• Ability to complete a district fingerprint-based background check as part of credentialing requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete educational assessments and create detailed evaluation reports for high school students
• Participate in ARD meetings, collaborate with ARD Specialists, and help determine appropriate educational services
• Consult with teachers, counselors, and families to promote best practices in learning support
• Maintain organized case files and ensure all compliance standards are met according to district and state guidelines
