Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education License with CI (Cognitively Impaired) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement (required)
- Certified in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or willingness to obtain and maintain certification annually
- Prior experience teaching special education in schools, particularly early elementary grades, is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction to K–2 students with cognitive impairments
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with local and federal guidelines
- Partner with families, therapists, and school staff to foster an inclusive, supportive educational environment
