Help create inclusive learning environments and provide critical support to students in Setting 3 Autism programs at both primary and secondary grade levels.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license required
  • Special Education credentialing
  • Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder preferred
  • Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and flexible program assignments
  • Experience in both primary and secondary settings is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct special education services to students in Setting 3 Autism classrooms
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address unique student needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
  • Collect data and track progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
