Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Troutman, North Carolina

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter for a contract position supporting elementary students in a school setting. This full-time schedule runs from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with consistent hours Monday through Friday (7:00am to 2:30pm, totaling 35 hours each week). You'll be working onsite near Troutman, NC, with a dedicated caseload at the elementary level, making a daily positive impact in educational access for students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLI licensure required
• EIPA score of 3.5 or above, or RID certification in lieu of EIPA
• Experience in K-12 school environments preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, educators, and staff
• Excellent punctuality—arrive before student arrival to be fully prepared each morning
• Onsite availability is essential (no virtual or remote options)
