Senior Buyer

Sparks Group in partnership with a security and defense organization is seeking a Senior Buyer. As the Sr. Buyer you will be responsible for strategic sourcing and managing the procurement process to work on a growing team. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals, leveraging market research to identify industry trends and new suppliers.
- Perform comprehensive price/cost analysis and negotiate purchase orders and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) to secure advantageous terms.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to guarantee the timely delivery of all materials and services.
- Ensure all procurement activities and documentation strictly adhere to FAR/DFAR regulations and requirements.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 10 years of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role
- Experienced using Costpoint
- UnderstandsContractors Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) requirements
