Credit Analyst Kansas City, MO | Fully Onsite Full-Time | $75-95K LHH is partnering with a well-established Kansas City financial institution who is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join its lending team. This role is responsible for analyzing financial statements, assessing credit risk, and providing recommendations that support sound lending decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and a desire to build a career in commercial or consumer banking. The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow reports, and other supporting documentation.
- Assess borrower's creditworthiness and identify potential lending risks.
- Prepare detailed credit presentations and loan recommendations for management and lending committees.
- Conduct financial ratio analysis, industry research, and trend evaluations.
- Review existing loan portfolios and monitor credit quality.
- Assist lenders with gathering and evaluating borrower information.
- Identify payment trends, irregular activity, and potential risk factors.
- Ensure compliance with internal lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with lending, credit administration, and operations teams to support loan decisions and portfolio management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in banking, credit analysis, commercial lending, financial analysis, or related experience.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit underwriting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
