Job Description
A full-time, onsite leadership opportunity exists for an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor to guide a dedicated team of pharmacists in an animal health compounding pharmacy. Located in Bakersfield, CA, this role focuses on ensuring exceptional quality compounded preparations while driving compliance, process improvements, and operational excellence.

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:15 AM–5:15 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to maintain high performance standards
- Establish and monitor productivity and quality benchmarks for compounding operations
- Oversee daily workflow and ensure adherence to compounding procedures
- Ensure compliance with USP guidelines, State Board regulations, and 503A requirements
- Maintain training records and facilitate continuous education on compounding practices
- Assist in drug selection for dispensing and compounded formulations
- Recommend improvements in processes and formulations to enhance efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional departments
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all company policies and federal/state regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a pharmacy lab setting
- 2 to 5 years’ compounding pharmacy experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of USP standards, State Board rules, and 503A compounding guidelines
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range of $160,000–$185,000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience
- Eligible for benefits
