Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher License in the state of Texas (required).
- Dual certification:
- For Middle School: EC-12 SPED and 4–8 Core.
- For High School: EC-12 SPED and 7–12 Core.
- Previous experience in a Special Education setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to middle and/or high school students in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments.
- Participate in team meetings, student progress assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Foster positive relationships with students and families, maintaining high standards for growth and engagement.
- Adapt teaching techniques to meet the varied needs of learners.
