This contract runs from September through December 1st, focusing on providing high-quality speech and language services to both elementary-aged children and itinerant PreK students.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with pediatric or early childhood populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for teaming with educators, families, and other professionals
- A passion for empowering students to succeed in their communication goals
Your Impactful Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across elementary and PreK settings
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, documenting progress and updating IEPs as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to develop classroom communication strategies
- Consult with families to support carryover of communication goals at home
- Travel as needed to provide services at multiple school sites within the district
