Qualifications & Experience:

• Successfully passed the MN Para Educator Exam or completed at least 60 college credits
• Experience working with students, particularly those with special needs, is a plus
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Effective communication skills and a supportive approach to learning
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with students individually or in small groups, following teachers’ lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students with diverse needs
• Assist with classroom management and help maintain a safe, engaging learning space
• Support teachers in preparing materials, adapting activities, and monitoring student progress
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment
