Seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support multiple school sites during an FMLA leave coverage from August 24th through September 25th, with potential for extension. Key Qualifications:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Missouri
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Ability to manage a caseload across several school sites

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to approximately 32 students
• Serve a caseload totaling around 800 minutes per week
• Develop and implement treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Adapt activities and routines to help students achieve their educational goals
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families
• Maintain detailed progress notes and documentation according to school policies
• Organize weekly schedule to ensure all assigned students receive services, with initial oversight available

You’ll be located at several school sites, giving you the opportunity for professional growth in a variety of educational settings. The full-time schedule runs approximately 8:00am–4:00pm, 7.5 hours per day, with the autonomy to arrange your own daily plan within assigned buildings.
